I’LL DRIVE IT HOME. NOTHING LIKE OLD BRITISH CAR RELIABILITY.
Shit, if only I had the money, I’d have one already.

It’s time for someone else to suffer the trials of MG ownership!
What made you get rid of it?

If I had the money, and a little more purchasing power, it’d be mine right now.

Just copying and pasting this from an old post
My first car was a 1971 MGB-GT, and she was perfect. I bought her exactly on her 40th birthday and she only had 22,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. I was the third owner, the first was a MG mechanic and the second was a lovely old British gentleman. He was selling it because he got a new AMG and his wife thought he had too many cars. I loved that car and it taught me so much both about the joys of owning a car and of Lucas electronics. My mom taught me how to drive stick on it and everything was lovely for a while. One day I take the car into the shop owned by the original owners brother (because the left turn signal turned off the headlights, a problem when turning after dark) and there was a family dressed in black. It turned out that the original owner had been terminally ill and had died the night before and the family had flown in from New York the previous night. They said that he always regretted selling the car and requested that it be back in the family. 3 days after he died and about 3 months after I bought her, my first car was on a trailer to upstate NY to comfort a grieving family. God damn I miss her, but she’s loved and that’s what matters.
TL;DR I lost my MGB-GT to a dead strangers last request, I’m sad, they’re happy, and that’s ok. Sorry for the wall of text
